Butter chicken with a twist

Love butter chicken but looking for a healthy twist?

I recently attended a fun morning at George Brown College’s culinary school that brought together good food and nutrition. Chef James Smith whipped up some awesome recipes from a booklet developed with the Canadian Diabetes Association for South Asians. Diabetes is a huge issue among South Asian, so the college was challenged with creating authentic recipes that were diabetes friendly.

I loved the rich, silky butter chicken with the added authenticity from the  fenugreek and garam masala. So how was this a healthier version? Canned tomatoes with no salt added, lighter cream (10% half and half), lower fat yogurt, and no ghee (clarified butter).
